 Australian universities are under extreme pressure to transform their operations. Not only to make savings to reinvest into their core business or teaching and research but also to respond to the demands for greater efficiency from their people: students, staff and industry. It is easier to streamline existing processes rather than fundamentally redesign the campus operations.
Some Australian universities have ceased the opportunity and pushed ahead with digital transformation, others get part of the way and lose courage or stakeholder support, yet others assume they will catch the next wave of innovation.
